BABY & ME - Tobacco Free

BABY & ME – Tobacco Free is a smoking cessation program created to reduce the burden of tobacco use on the pregnant and postpartum population. Smoking during pregnancy is a well-documented cause of premature and underweight births. The Baby & Me - Tobacco Free Program assists pregnant women and a support partner to quit smoking while pregnant and then remain quit after baby is born.  Through a series of face-to-face counseling sessions, women and their families are given tools and support needed to make a successful quit attempt and are rewarded with FREE DIAPERS in the form of a diaper voucher for their success.
The program data results have proven effective in decreasing the number of women who smoke during and after pregnancy. Pregnant women who currently smoke or who were daily smokers within three months prior to pregnancy are eligible for the program.
